Which Games Run on a Steam Deck?

Steam Deck came to us recently and many people are really happy with it. However, many users don't know what all can be played on Steam Deck and what games can be played on Deck.

That's why Steam has said that all games and apps that are very compatible with Steam Deck work well together. And for some games, it should say that Steam Deck doesn't work well with that game, so it might sometimes get stuck or behave differently than on your computer.

A list of verified games that are known to run essentially without issue on Steam Deck has also been released. Let's go check them out.

But this list is really huge, so we'll just show some of them here. The full list of all verified games and apps can be found on Steam and pretty much everywhere on the internet.

  • Dead Rising 4
  • Death’s Door
  • Deathloop
  • Death Stranding
  • Death Trash
  • Demon Slayer
  • Demon Turf
  • Desperados III
  • Despot’s Game: Dystopian Army Builder
  • Devil May Cry 5
  • Disco Elysium – The Final Cut
  • Dishonored
  • Dishonored: Death of the Outsider
  • DmC: Devil May Cry
  • DOOM II
  • Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Digital Edition of Light
  • Drawful 2
  • Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour
  • Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance
  • Dying Light
  • Eastward
  • Edge of Eternity
  • Elden Ring
  • Elderborn
  • Endless Space – Definitive Edition
  • Enslaved: Odyssey to the West Premium Edition
  • Enter the Gungeon
  • Epic Battle Fantasy 5
  • Everhood

But there are many more, so if you're interested in a particular game be sure to check Steam and the game should show if it's supported by Steam Deck. If you're still not sure look anywhere on the internet as it's already described everywhere what actually works on the Deck and what doesn't.

Most games you have on Steam should work with Steam Deck though, so there should be almost no problem. For some games we know there is a bit of lag at times, but that's only for games that are described as having problems with Steam Deck.

But games are still being optimized, so if you don't see the game you're looking for on the list. It may be that they are still optimizing it and you can still expect to see the game running on Steam Deck. But for some games you can't because they're already really strong and Steam Deck just won't run some of them as well as it should.
